What are the unique qualities of music that make it such a powerful force in the early development of children, whether lullabies at bedtime, singing nursery rhymes, jumping in time to skipping songs, or the endlessly repeated playback of  tunes heard on-line?

How does music contribute to a young child’s bonding, emotional development, cognitive maturation, socialization, mood regulation and development of peer relationships? Hear our panellists discuss not only how the formative impacts of an active engagement with music listening and learning advances the young child’s development, but also the implications for lifelong resiliency, wellness and success.
