About Tina Fedeski
Motivated by her passionate belief in the transformative power of music, Tina co-founded OrKidstra, a Sistema-inspired social development program with the mission to empower kids and build community through the universal language of music. Since 2007, OrKidstra has offered free programming to thousands of students from equity-deserving communities. From 62 linguistic and cultural backgrounds, the children and youth demonstrate how music gives them a voice and a confidence that transcends differences and celebrates love, courage, excellence, and belonging.
As well as a professional musician and entrepreneur, Tina is a trained integral coach. She has weaved the power of curiosity, kindness, and connection throughout OrKidstra to help nurture virtuoso human beings. As the co-founder of OrKidstra, Tina has proudly accepted many awards including the Meritorious Service Medal from the Governor General of Canada in 2017.
