About Matthew Bell
Matthew Bell, Frontier Economics, OBE looks at the wider impacts of participation in artistic and cultural activitities and how these findings can influence government policy decisions. For over 25 years he has advised governments around the world on the potential impact of new policies and ongoing impacts of existing policies. He has worked particularly in the areas of culture, health, climate and industrial strategy. He is a Fellow of the Royal Economic Society, a Member of the UK’s Government’s Evaluation and Trial Advice Panel (charged with promoting best practice evaluation of government decisions), worked in the UK Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit and was awarded an OBE by the late Queen for services to combat climate change.
